The 16th edition of the Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh has set to host 30 Iranian films.
‘Asphyxia’ directed by Fereydoun Jeyrani, ‘White Bridge’ by Ali Qavitan, ‘End of Dreams’ by Mohammad-Ali Talebi, ‘Searing Summer’ by Ebrahim Irajzad and ‘Take Off’ by Ehsan Abdipour are among the films that will be screened at the event.
‘Israfil’ by Ida Panahandeh, ‘Villa Residents’ by Monir Qeydi, ‘Untaken Path’ by Tahmineh Milani, ‘Souzangerd’ by Masoumeh Nourmohammadi and ‘Common Hole’ by Asma Ebrahimzadegan will also be screened at the Women Filmmakers section.
The Dhaka International Film Festival is a biennial film festival held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Established in 1992, the festival is one of the most prestigious film events in Bangladesh, dedicated to introduce the mainstream global cinema to the local filmmakers as well as to promote healthy cine culture within Bangladesh.
The event will be held on January 12-20, 2018.
